Karen is an admitted Solicitor in the Supreme Court of New South Wales and held the position of In-House Solicitor for the Australian Medical Association (NSW) for four years. Previous to that, she worked as a Solicitor for the AMA (NSW) external legal advisers, TressCox Lawyers.
She is experienced in assisting practitioners with medico-legal advice, workplace issues and general procedural matters pertaining to various aspects of a Health Practice.
With a Certificate IV in Business and Diplomas in Practice Management and Company Directors, Karen’s expertise is highly regarded from a business perspective. Not only have these courses provided her with the skill and knowledge to run her own business, but it has also provided her an in-depth insight into the operations of a health practice.
She has presented seminars throughout Australia and had speaking roles in relation to various topics including:

She is also regularly interviewed for Journals such as Australian Doctor and Medical Observer.
